The Royal Wedding - What will she wear????

Happy Thursday Evening Friends,
Is your fashion curiosity killing you this evening?  Mine certainly is!!  And, no, I'm not talking about the soon-to-be Princess' much buzzed about wedding dress.  I'm talking about the Queen of Fabulousness, Victoria Beckham!  Regardless of what everyone else wears, Posh will be certain to blow us all away.  I think she will choose something from her incredible Fall 2011 runway show.  But, here's the twist....she's getting pretty preggers at this point. Will she don one of the super fitted sheaths and flaunt that bump?  Or, will she wear something a little more flowing to hide the baby girl? I'm not totally sure, but here are my top picks from her collection.  And a few fabulous accessories (Philip Treacy hats and sky-high Louboutins, of course!)  I can't wait!!!

Spring Must-have piece

I'm all about a fabulous piece that will work hard for the money (so to speak).  When I stumble upon an utterly cool piece that I can wear many different ways, I bring this find to you immediately!  I picked up a great oversized loose knit sweater early this spring season and have already found a million ways to wear it!  The one below is from Theory and would be the perfect multi-tasker.  I've been wearing mine with a white tank and white jeans with wedges for an effortless casual look.  It would also be super cool over a white swimmy while on vacay.  Or you could pair it with some denim cutoffs and flat sandals.  Do you see what I mean??  A million ways to wear it, one more chic than the next!   What other way can you find to wear it?

Tuesday's Working Grrrrl Chic!

I was so inspired by this picture of Helen Mirren in a full lenghty, floaty leopard dress and leather jacket at the recent premier of "Arthur."  I love the idea of taking something that doesn't seem to fit in a certain situation (like a full length leopard gown at a red carpet event) and making it completely breathtaking.  This made me think, could we make a hot little leopard dress work-day chic using the same tricks?  The answer to that inquiry is, YES!  Look at this beautiful Alice and Olivia sheath dress in rich leopard paired with a black motorcycle jacket. The trick is to cover up your arms, and be sure the dress is an appropriate length.  If spring is in full force in your neck of the woods, then you could always switch a black cardy for the jacket. Then pair a statement necklace in shocking coral and some lady like pumps. I think the perfect little bow on this Fendi style adds just a touch of sweetness to this other wise daring ensemble.  Fabulously ferocious!

Bright Bottoms!

Happy Monday Readers,
So I am back from Easter hiatus and feeling rested and relaxed on this spring morning.  This has led me to crave color and whimsy in my Monday ensemble. I think the freshest way to do that is with a pair of vibrantly fabulous pants!  You could tone this look down with a neutral blouse and shoes, but I say kick it up a notch with some colorful espadrilles and a striped top.  Now that's a funday Monday! Hope your Monday is this fun an whimsical too!

Fashionable friends

I love a good "chic flick" especially one centered around a hilarious group of girlfriends.  Having a tightknit group of fabulous friends myself, it's always something that I identify with.  When you take those girls and put them in a uber-fashionable Harper's Bazaar photo spread, you've got movie magic!  How fun does this shoot look?

Unfortunately, (as said girlfriends can attest) I have experienced the danger of drunk shopping - aboard a spring break cruise to Mexico nonethless.  It yielded the ugliest bracelet ever created, but was still one of the best shopping trips to date!  So, cheers to girlfriends....and remaining hydrated during shopping excursions!

Working Girl Chic Tuesday - Colorblock fabulously

Happy Working Girl Tuesday Friends!
As you know, I like to take the trends from the runways and turn them into something that is chic and workplace appropriate.  One of the biggest trends to hit the spring 2011 runways was colorblocking.  What a colorfully happy way to dress at the office!  The easiest way to rock this look is to find a dress that does the complicated part for you (mixing and matching colors that you might not otherwise put together).  Today's dress by DVF does that beautifully.  I love the shade of salmon mixed with a deep, royal purple.  Remember that colorblocking is generally a minimalist look, so you want to keep the accessories to a minimum and very sculptural.  A pair of nude shoes and a great gold necklace is really all you need.  Although, if you're really daring (like me!)  you'll find a great pair of sandals in another vibrant color and throw those on.  How fun would turquoise be with this look?!  Go ahead, be brave!

The Kardashian Kloset!

Happy Monday Fashion Friends!
I am Krazy for a fabulous Kloset and Khloe Kardarshian's does not disappoint!  Ok, I know, enough with the K's.  But, I'm overwhelmed by the number of shoes in this dreamland closet.  I'm wondering if there is a Louboutin made that she does not own!  Being a shoe-gal myself, I completely understand the obsession.  Here are a few pics from her Elle spread to get your Monday off on the right "foot."
